East Europe Foundation Moldova is happy to announce the launching of the Think Tanks Capacity Development Program”
19-03-2013
The program will focus on supporting think tanks (Analytical Centers) to design and implement innovations in various policy areas, including governance, justice, human rights, economic development, European integration and social sector. Assistance shall enable think tanks to engage with government stakeholders and participate in policy formulation, implementation and monitoring in sectors corresponding to their area of expertise.
The program will support both established and nascent think tanks.
Rather than focusing on supporting specific projects, the program will require think tanks to come up with coherent, multi-year proposals (institutional development and activity plans) that will seek to strengthen the capacity of the organization to generate knowledge and influence the policy process.
The grant will provide institutional support that will cover fully or partially the running costs of the organization (office rent and maintenance, staff salaries), as well as the core and innovative projects within the organizations’ institutional development plans. The program will encourage the organizations to use the funds from this program as leverage funding which will co-support the organization’s key projects, publications and activities.
