Economic Developement

The goal of the Economic Development Program is to enhance economic development in Moldovan communities by engaging local authorities, civil society and the private sector in initiatives that increase economic opportunities, foster sustainable development for small and medium enterprises and individual entrepreneurs, and support business and economics education initiatives.

EEF’s economic development program area focuses on assisting in creating a business environment that encourages foreign direct investment.  Economic development efforts also include initiatives related to energy independence, alternative energy sources and energy efficiency.

EEF works with local governments, businesses and charities to foster entrepreneurship, generate new jobs, increase energy efficiency and attract investment through public-private partnership.
